The people you see in our testimonials carousel are real Porichoy members. Here is exactly how we invite them, what we publish, and how anyone can ask us to take their story down.
Before we reach out, we confirm the couple matched through Porichoy and that at least three months have passed since their wedding or formal engagement, so the story has had time to settle. We never approach members who are still actively searching.
We send a plain-language email explaining what we'd like to publish, where, and for how long. We wait for written agreement before asking for a photo or quote. If they say no — or simply don't reply — we close the file and don't ask again for at least twelve months.
Quotes are written by the member or parent themselves — we may lightly edit for grammar, but never in a way that changes the meaning. The photo, name, and city are all confirmed exactly the way they want them shown. If a spouse or family member is named or pictured, they sign their own consent too.
Nothing goes live until we receive a signed consent and release form. Each release is logged in our internal register so we can answer any question — including takedown requests — quickly and accurately.
No one is paid, discounted, or rewarded for sharing their story. Paid testimonials would destroy the trust this section is meant to build.
If a featured member or family changes their mind — at any point, for any reason — they can email privacy@porichoy.in and we will remove their photo, name, and quote from the site within 14 days. We won't ask why, and we won't reuse their material in anything new.
Email privacy@porichoy.in from the address linked to your Porichoy account, or any address you can verify. We aim to remove featured material within 14 days of the request.
